What are the precautions for installing this product?

1. Pre-installation Inspection: Verify the equipment model, parameters, and component integrity of the advanced horizontal centrifugal slurry pump casing. Ensure all technical documents are complete and carefully read the operation manual to understand the operating procedures.

2. Pump body installation: Use the secondary grouting method for fixing, adjust the shims to ensure the pump body is level (error ≤ 0.1mm/m), and securely fasten the anchor bolts.

3. Pipe connection: The inlet and outlet pipelines must be independently supported to prevent weight from acting on the pump body; the suction pipe diameter should be ≥ the pump inlet diameter, and the outlet pipe diameter should be ≥ the pump outlet diameter, with the regulating valve located at the outlet.

4. Pump priming and venting: Before starting, the pump needs to be primed (filled with liquid) and vented to avoid dry running; the inlet valve should be fully open, and the outlet valve closed before starting.

5. Shutdown and maintenance: Close the outlet valve before shutting down the pump; in winter, drain the liquid from the pump to prevent freezing; regularly check the oil level and quality, and replace worn parts promptly.

6. Do not operate without water, avoid prolonged operation at excessively low flow rates to prevent cavitation; ensure the motor is properly grounded and the power supply meets the requirements specified on the nameplate.
